I have loved comic art since childhood, but was dissuaded from pursuing the style during my Army and art school days. After switching from fine to graphic art, I went to my first comic con and was inspired to pursue what is now a fusion of comic and fine art.
My work recalls a variety of influences, from Michael Turner and J. Scott Campbell to Alphonse Mucha, Jackson Pollock and Van Gogh. I feel that all types of art and artists can learn and grow from unexpected sources and I seek to bring joy to the comic community that has embraced my work. I am currently a member of a group of artist called Artist Comic Collective.
